In case you couldn’t get enough Kingdom Hearts 3 goodness – and honestly, how could anyone? – a new clip has been posted on the PlayStation Japan YouTube channel showcasing more gameplay from Tetsuya Nomura’s next. The director himself provides commentary in some previously seen footage wherein protagonist Sora is outrunning a swarm of Heartless, among other things.

Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced at this year’s E3, much to the surprise of those present. The third game in the series will see the return of Sora, Donald and Goofy and the familiar Heartless enemies. Some new gameplay and combat mechanics were showcased in a trailer released yesterday during the D23 Expo. You can check it out here and admire all the flash and special FX that goes with our favourite trio beating the tar out of enemies.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is currently scheduled to release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox One, though a definite release date is yet to be announced.
