Kingdom Hearts - Project Xehanort

Square Enix has announced an official name for Project Xehanort, a Kingdom Hearts title coming to iOS and Android. It’s now called Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road, reflecting the path that young Xehanort took to becoming the Seeker of Darkness. Those who participated in guessing the title’s official name should be contacted shortly about their prizes.

Square Enix also promised more information on the title after mid-February. For now, all we know is that the story will center on series antagonist Xehanort and how he became so gosh-darned evil. Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road is currently slated for release in Spring for Japan.

In the meantime, fans can check out the recent ReMind DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3. It introduces several new boss fights, difficulty modifiers and a new secret boss battle and ending that’s blowing people’s minds. ReMind is out now for PS4 and will be coming to Xbox One on February 25th. You can check out our review here.
