We’re mere hours away from this year’s Summer Game Fest showcase, where several announcements and “World Premieres” will occur. However, it seems that some shadow drops will occur, which could include NEOWIZ’s Lies of P: Overture.
A new trailer has leaked online, displaying various new bosses that P will face (and the weapons used, including a Gunblade). The ending states “Available Now,” and given that this is before Summer Game Fest, a surprise release is possible.
However, since the trailer only lists Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S as platforms, it could also shadow drop during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8th. Of course, this may also be the version that will go live on Xbox’s YouTube channels. As always, time will tell, so stay tuned.
Alongside Xbox, Lies of P: Overture is coming to PS4, PS5, and PC, retailing for $29.99 and offering 15 to 20 hours of gameplay. There will also be a free update adding difficulty options, Boss Rush and Boss Replay.
