Developer Round8 Studio and publisher Neowiz have released a new trailer for upcoming action RPG Lies of P. The trailer, released as part of IGN Fan Fest 2023, focuses on showing off the core gameplay of Lies of P. Check it out below.
The trailer gives us glimpses of traversal and exploration, but most importantly, it also gives us a solid look at the action-packed Souls-styled gameplay for the upcoming RPG. The trailer shows us a variety of different weapons, as well as offensive and defensive options against regular enemies and boss fights alike.
Lies of P, announced back in 2021, is heavily inspired by the classic story of Pinocchio. Set in the ruined city of Krat, the game features hostile automatons that players will have to fight their way through.
The game takes quite a bit of influence from FromSoftware’s titles, such as the Souls-styled combat, and the choice of a gothic horror aesthetic in the vein of Bloodborne.
Lies of P is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S this year.
