Life is Strange 2

Dontnod Entertainment took us all by surprise by announcing after E3 2018 that Life is Strange 2 – which is not called Life is Stranger – would be releasing in September. Its first episode would debut for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with five episodes in total for the season.

Though the developer confirmed that more details will arrive at Gamescom later this month, a new teaser has also been released. It takes place from a police officer’s dashcam as he investigates a disturbance. On exiting the car to handle it, the officer is suddenly flung back, and his patrol car tipped over. Captain Spirit, is that you all grown up?

Life is Strange 2 will be fully revealed on August 20th, with Gamescom starting on August 21st and ending on the 25th. The first episode arrives on September 27th, with the full season costing $19.99. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, which acts as an interlude between Season 1 and 2, is currently available for free. Read our review here.
