Deck Nine Games has announced that Life is Strange: Remastered Collection, which features remasters of Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, has been delayed. Instead of September, it will now be releasing in early 2022. Life is Strange: True Colors is still on track for its release on September 10th while its Wavelengths DLC arrives on September 30th.
As for the reason behind the delay, the developer cited the current pandemic. It wants to “alleviate any additional pressure” on the team by providing more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors and the Remastered Collection. More details will be revealed in the coming months but a first look trailer will premiere tomorrow for Wavelengths in the meantime.
Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is in development for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch. Along with the first two games in the series, which sport improved visuals, it also adds improvements to the gameplay and puzzles. Bonus content like the Farewell episode and Chloe’s outfits are also included.
