It may or not be gaining momentum with the fans, but Square-Enix’s final title in the FFXIII saga, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, is rolling on with the details. A bunch of detailed screenshots have been released, though the details themselves have been laid out pretty well by Siliconera.
Apparently, there is an organization set against Lightning (the “Liberator) and the followers of Bhunivelze, and constantly striking out against them. Of course, they don’t really know her identity but they’re working to draw her out (the series of murders happening is committed by them).
Also, the people of the world Novus Partus have been living for 500 years since FFXIII-2’s conclusion. Not everyone notices it though, and those who do, are mysteriously “taken care of”.
We already know that NPC Chocolina will have a bigger role this time, but more importantly, past characters will appear through the story to have their respective tales wrapped up.
