Sega has released the launch trailer for Like a Dragon: Ishin!, RGG Studio’s remake of 2014’s Ryu ga Gotoku: Ishin! It’s available worldwide for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC after Digital Deluxe owners received early access this past weekend.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is about Sakamoto Ryoma, a samurai that seeks vengeance after his master is murdered. To find the killer, he goes undercover in the Shinsengumi, an elite police unit in Kyoto (known in-game as Kyo). However, since this is the Bakumatsu, with the Tokugawa Shogunate on its last legs and unrest everywhere, there’s a fair bit of chaos to deal with first.

In addition to highly revamped visuals, Like a Dragon: Ishin! also features gameplay changes, like Trooper Cards being usable throughout the game. These provide powerful buffs and abilities, from energy blasts to healing, and augment the four Combat Styles. Check out our official review for more details on the game.
