#13. CHEEP CHEEP BEACH (MARIO KART 8 DELUXE)
When it was first introduced in Mario Kart DS, Cheep Cheep Beach was a solid enough track, if not particularly impressive. Its updated version in Mario Kart 8 (and Deluxe), however, turns it into one of the best tracks in the series’ history. From a visual perspective, it’s absolutely gorgeous, with sparkling blue water everywhere and superbly detailed environments. Meanwhile, the retroactive addition of things such as paragliding and underwater racing adds a great deal of dynamism to the track, making it a better racing experience as well.
