With Season 1: Eternal Night Falls for Marvel Rivals starting soon, NetEase Games has revealed one of the new maps for players. It’s the Sanctum Sanctorum, Doctor Strange’s home, housing many powerful magic artifacts. However, it’s not in shipshape – check out the trailer below.
Since the Timestream Entanglement, Strange is away from New York City, causing Dracula to plunge it into endless darkness. The Sanctorum serves as a refuge but while some areas look normal, others appear to be crossing over into another dimension. There’s even low gravity in certain places.
Marvel Rivals Season 1 goes live on January 10th at 1 AM PST for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Alongside new maps, it adds the Fantastic Four as playable heroes. Mister Fantastic is a Duelist who specializes in melee combat, and The Invisible Woman is a Strategist with knockback abilities, barriers, and more.
