Yesterday’s War Table stream for Marvel’s Avengers featured a number of details. We learned about end-game activities like Mega Hives and AIM’s Secret Lab, seasonal events and SHIELD Substation Zero and even the reveal of Kate Bishop as a post-launch hero. Kate’s Operation begins immediately after the campaign, but what about Hawkeye, her so-called mentor?
Revealed prior to this, Clint Barton was confirmed to be part of this Hawkeye story arc. As a result, Kate’s story in “Taking AIM” will play out first when she launches in October. Clint’s arrival will complete it in when he’s available, which was confirmed to be in November, as per Square Enix.
More heroes are on the way of course, including Hank Pym aka Antman. Judging by datamined characters from the beta, we could see She-Hulk and War Machine joining as well. Stay tuned for more details on that front in the coming months. In the meantime, Marvel’s Avengers is out on September 4th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia.
