The latest War Table stream for Marvel’s Avengers recently took place and the development team outlined its plans for post-launch. It unveiled several of the things that players will get to do, including timed activities and the like, while also unveiling Mega Hives and AIM’s Secret Lab. Check out the War Table stream below for all the details.

Mega Hives are essentially an endless dungeon of sorts. Players go in with their team and battle through each floor with the difficulty increasing as they go further. If one team member is knocked out, then another hero will come in to take their place but it’s game over when all Avengers have been defeated.

AIM’s Secret Lab sounds more like the raid-style content that the developers were hyping up, complete with a weekly lockout. While specific details weren’t revealed – aside from a showdown with The Abomination at some point – there is an emphasis on hitting the power cap and having strong team coordination to succeed. It begs the question then – will there be matchmaking for the activity at launch?

Marvel’s Avengers is out on September 4th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia with Xbox Series X and PS5 versions coming later. Servers are currently live though and early access available to Deluxe Edition and Earth’s Mightiest Edition owners.
