Marvel’s Avengers Day One Patch Contains Matchmaking and Performance Improvements

Crystal Dynamics is also working on pinging in War Zones and size options for subtitles.

Marvel’s Avengers is technically available worldwide later this week but servers and the day one patch go live tomorrow. Crystal Dynamics had already confirmed the update to be 18 GB when it goes live and in a new blog post, some of its fixes have been revealed. It offers improvements to matchmaking and performance along with UI fixes.

Also, if you’ve been seeing characters venture outside of levels, then those issues should be fixed as well. The development team also outlined some features that would be coming in future updates. These include a pinging system for War Zone missions, the ability to resize subtitles and a high-contrast mode.

Marvel’s Avengers is out on September 4th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia with PS5 and Xbox Series X version releasing later this year. Those with the the Deluxe Edition and Earth’s Mightiest Edition can play it tomorrow thanks to early access benefits. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days on the game’s overall quality.
