Marvel’s Avengers didn’t turn out to be nearly as critically or commercially successful as Square Enix may have wanted it to be, and if the lukewarm reception for the game has kept you from giving it a go until now, soon you’ll have the perfect chance to try it out without having to risk a purchase.

It’s been announced that Marvel’s Avengers will be coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud on September 30. This will include the base game itself, as well as all three of its post-launch expansions featuring Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, and the most recent addition to the game, Black Panther. Meanwhile, an event celebrating the game’s one year anniversary will also be running from September 30 to October 4 during which you’ll be able to earn 4x XP. If you already have Hero Boosters in place, the boosts will be stacked.

Marvel’s Avengers is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Spider-Man is also being added to the game via a Hero Event later this year, but that content is going to be exclusive to those who’re playing the game on PS5 or PS4.
