Marvels-Avengers Spider-Man

We’ve known that Spider-Man was going to show up in Sqaure Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers at some point when it was announced long ago, before the game launched. The announcement was met with mixed reception, as the character was also only coming to PlayStation consoles. Either way, however, they have been teasing the reveal of the webslinger in various ways, and now we have the grand reveal with a cinematic trailer.

The new trailer shows Spider-Man taking on some AIM enemies, and getting overwhelmed until the other Avengers show up to even out the odds. Like a lot of recent incarnations of the character, this Spider-Man appears to be on the younger side. There isn’t a whole lot here, and this is all CGI, so it’s hard to gauge exactly what the character will play as, but at least now the webhead is out there. He will also get his own Hero Event with story elements, though no details were given yet.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now, and Spider-Man will drop on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 as part of the update on November 30th, which you can read more about through here.
