Over five years since the first game’s release, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now available exclusively for PS5. It continues the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who are both playable and deal with daily life while fighting crime as Spider-Men.
Similar to previous games in the series, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is an open-world title. You can explore Manhattan and Brooklyn with a map twice the size of the original game. It’s still roughly the same length, but there are new activities in addition to stopping crime, which all contribute to a district’s progress.
Peter and Miles have unique Skills to take advantage of, with nearly 70 suits to unlock and equip. The Symbiote is a major part of the story, and while Venom appears as an antagonist (among several others), Peter also gains new abilities thanks to the alien parasite.
