Sony has revealed its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, ending on October 31st. It included updated sales numbers for titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which has sold five million copies since launch.
Insomniac’s eagerly-anticipated open-world superhero title launched on October 20th for PS5 and sold over 2.5 million copies in the first 24 hours. It became the fastest-selling first-party title in PlayStation’s history, beating previous record holder God of War Ragnarok. Since it was available for about 11 days last month, these are some pretty strong sales figures.
