It is time once again to swing around with one of the world’s most popular superheroes at the year’s end with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Mile Morales. The game will see the continued adventure of the other Spider-Man in Insomniac Games’ take on the wallcrawler. While it’ll be coming to both the PS4 and PS5, those who get it for the next gen launch will see it take advantage of some new tech.

In the latest edition of PlayStation Official Magazine (issue 180), a lot is talked about in regards to the PS5’s DualSense controller and its new features. When talking about Miles Morales, Creative Director Brian Horton said they were using the haptics to push the “dimensionality” of feedback. It will be utilized in combat, with the example given of Miles’ Venom Blasts, which will see a crackling noise begin on the left side of the controller that shifts to the right side once the attack has been launched. Apparently, it will also have use in stealth sections, but no specifics were given for how that will function.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch on November 12th for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Those on the PS5 will be able to get the Ultimate Edition, which sees both Miles Morales and a remaster of the first game, and you can also check out your pre-order bonus options for the title through here.
