Metro Exodus

Metro Exodus is just over a month away from launch, and it is looking excellent, as it takes the franchise’s atmospheric and horror-esque elements into even harsher and relatively larger environments. In anticipation of the upcoming release, developers 4A Games have put out a Making Of video, a first in a three-part documentary-style series, which takes a deep dive into behind-the-scenes development of the game in the developers two studios at Kiev and Malta.

The first video, which you can view below, talks about the developers themselves, while putting the spotlight on some of the leads on the project, before going on to talk about how the development of Exodus, owing to its larger scope and ambitious nature as compared to previous games in the series, proved to be a change in direction and a step forward for the series. It’s an interesting video, especially for those who’ve been fans of the series since Metro 2033 launched back in 2010, so be sure to take a look.

Metro Exodus launches on February 15 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will launch with a photo mode on day one. A new story trailer was also recently revealed- take a look through here.
