Build A Rocket Boy, which will soon release its first big multiplatform game, MindsEye has seen the recent departure of two major executives: Chief Legal Officer Riley Graebner and Chief Financial Officer Paul Bland. As spotted by Eurogamer, the former announced his departure in a LinkedIn post while the latter updated his profile to indicate the same.

Graebner spent 3.5 years at the company, saying he was “proud of what we’ve accomplished” and that it grew to “over 450 employees.” “I’m beyond excited for what’s next — but currently operating in stealth mode for a while longer. Stay tuned.” Bland’s tenure lasted a little over two years.

MindsEye launches on June 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s faced criticism and concerns over the past few weeks due to lackluster marketing, though Build A Rocket Boy eventually released an overview trailer and a post-launch roadmap.

Co-CEO Mark Gerhard would then state that he “100 percent” believed negative reactions to the title were financed by “someone.” While CEO Leslie Benzies didn’t address this in a recent interview, he laid out a ten-year plan for the universe, which includes an open-world multiplayer sequel launching next year and another title in the interim.
