Monster Hunter Rise - Apex Rathalos

The latest Monster Hunter Digital Event will be taking place today with Monster Hunter Rise’s first major Title Update being featured. Chameleos has already been teased via the official Monster Hunter Twitter and the latest clip showcases Apex Rathalos. Both monsters will be added in the upcoming update which launches in “late April.”

A “plethora” of new monsters are also coming alongside these two so expect some to be revealed during the livestream. Title Update 2.0 also unlocks the Hunter Rank cap, though it seems that any previously completed hunts won’t retroactively count towards increasing it (like in Monster Hunter World). We’ll have to wait for more details in the meantime.

Title Update 3.0 has also been teased with “several new monsters” and a new ending, the latter providing the actual conclusion to the base game’s story. No release window has been provided yet though. The upcoming livestream is slated for 7 AM PDT and will also include details on Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, which is out on July 9th for PC and Nintendo Switch.
