Monster Hunter Rise

After showcasing the Greatsword, Capcom has released new trailers for Monster Hunter Rise, this time focusing on the Bow and Dual Blades. Much like Monster Hunter World, the Bow is capable of mid-range shots, a stunning rain of shots and a powerful charged shot. Meanwhile, the Dual Blades can unleash quick attacks and Demon Mode for a new range of combos.

However, in Monster Hunter Rise, they both get new techniques that add even more variety. The Bow’s “Herculean Draw” will empower all attacks while “Focus Shot” is a vault of sorts that increases stamina recovery. The Dual Blades use “Piercing Bind” to attach kunai to a monster that provides increased damage when hit.

Monster Hunter Rise is out on March 26th 2021 for Nintendo Switch. However, a limited time demo will be arriving sometime in January on the eShop. Stay tuned for more details when it eventually goes live. Perhaps we’ll hear more about the rumored PC version in the near future as well.
