Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

After launching on June 30th for Nintendo Switch and PC, Monster Hunter Rise’s paid expansion Sunbreak has passed two million units in total shipments and digital sales worldwide. Monster Hunter Rise has also crossed 10 million in worldwide shipments and digital sales, up from nine million in May 2022. The base game was originally launched in March 2021 for Nintendo Switch.

In a recent press release, Capcom also revealed that cumulative sales for the series exceeded 84 million units as of today. Monster Hunter World continues to be a record-holder for the company with 21 million units shipped since its launch in January 2018.

Like the base game, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will receive free post-launch Title Updates in the coming year. The first is out in August, adding Lucent Nargacuga and Seething Bazelgeuse along with the Forlorn Arena. The next Title Updates arrive in Fall and Winter with more special monsters and challenges to come. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
