Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings of Ruin

While Capcom’s next title in the Monster Hunter Stories series is due next year, those on Xbox One can experience the originals this Fall. Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be coming to the console on November 14th, as announced on the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast.

Currently available on Nintendo Switch, PC, and PS4, the first game introduces players to the concept of Riders and Monsties. By raising and developing classic series’ monsters, players can engage in turn-based battles. Of course, the sequel goes far beyond this with much deeper breeding mechanics, a more epic story and improved visuals.

Check out our reviews for both titles and stay tuned for more details. As for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, it’s out on March 13th, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
