Monster Hunter World Iceborne

If you’ve been chomping at the bit to try out Monster Hunter World’s full-fledged Iceborne expansion, you won’t have to wait much longer. That is, if you’re on PlayStation 4. Capcom has announced a beta for PS4 players from June 28th to 30th. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can get in on June 21st to 23rd.

A neat video featuring a tour with the Handler will help acquaint players on all the new features in Iceborne. Everything from the new Hoarfrost Reach and its monsters to new abilities and tools like the Clutch Claw are detailed. The beta will have three monsters to hunt – Great Jagras, Banbaro, and Tigrex. You can try out all 14 weapon types (along with the Clutch Claw) and earn up to three item packs that will be available in the full expansion.

As a way to experiment with the new tools and explore the new region, this beta is worth checking out. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will launch on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4. PC players will have to appropriately wait till Winter to get their hands on it.
