Monster Hunter World PC Fix for Crashes is Coming

Capcom is busy working on a fix which currently doesn't have an ETA.

Monster Hunter World Updated Event Schedule 1

Capcom’s Monster Hunter World port for PC has received fairly positive impressions from a majority of publications thus far, mostly owing to the swathe of graphical options and ease of obtaining 1080p resolution and 60 FPS. While the developer spoke about the CPU-heavy nature of the PC version, publications slowly came out about the nasty crashes that were occurring.

The exact reason for the crashes is unknown but many believe it’s owing to how much the CPU is being taxed. When you’re out on a long hunt and the game crashes before you can claim the rewards, it doesn’t make for the best lasting impression.

Fortunately, PC Gamer approached Capcom for a statement and the development team revealed that it’s aware of the issue. A fix will be coming but a release date for the same hasn’t been confirmed. We would hope it arrives by launch day, if not around the same time.

To check if your system is good enough to run Monster Hunter World, head on over here. The PC version is out on August 9th while console players can experience the Behemoth update on August 1st.
