Monster Hunter World PC Gameplay Footage Looks Crisp

Running at high settings and 60 frames per second, Monster Hunter World has never looked better.

Monster Hunter World Updated Event Schedule 1

Capcom’s Monster Hunter World will be heading to PC in August, fulfilling a long-awaited demand from PC players who wanted improved visuals. Not only did it respond with options for up to 4K resolution and 60 FPS frame rate, but it also provided several outlets with an early look at the game. YouTube channel Arekkz Gaming had a chance to capture footage, showcasing the opening and first hunt at max settings, which you can take a look at below.

Monster Hunter World certainly looks crisp on PC, taking advantage of features like subsurface scattering and ambient occlusion. The frame rate also looks incredibly solid. Though anything but the beefiest of rigs will have trouble running it at 4K/60 FPS, Monster Hunter World should function just fine if you meet the requirements.

Releasing on August 9th, Monster Hunter World on PC will lack post-launch content like Lunastra and Deviljho (though they will make their way to the game at a quicker pace). So that means if you want to experience the spiffy new Behemoth update on August 9th, you’ll have to wait.
