PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds launched on Xbox One about two months ago, and players have enjoyed hundreds of thousands of chicken dinners ever since the Battle Royale hit came to consoles. But now, in a real testament to the kind of momentum Monster Hunter World has behind it, the action-RPG has taken that top spot as noticed by Resetera.

Capcom has shipped well over 5 million units of Monster Hunter World so far across the two platforms it launched on, and it seems like the Xbox One is a bigger piece of that pie than anyone thought. The title now tops the Xbox Store charts for top paid game on the storefront.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds isn’t exactly being ignored now, in the UK the game held strong to the number two spot. Seems like many new hunters are giving Monster Hunter World a chance. Are you one of them? Check out this guide if you need a hand getting started, and let us know about your Monster Hunter experiences in the comments.
