Monster Hunter World Special Developer Update Video Coming Today

Will Capcom finally announce the addition of G-Rank to Monster Hunter World?

Monster Hunter World Updated Event Schedule 2

Just a few days ago, Monster Hunter World’s senior producer Ryozo Tsujimoto promised some news that would “make everyone happy”. Tsujimoto wasn’t even joking about the news coming fairly soon. A new special developer update video is coming today at 6 AM PST. What could it contain? It’ll still be some time before we find out.

Many are speculating that G-Rank will finally be added to Monster Hunter World. The endgame activity has been seen in previous Monster Hunter titles and effectively adds a higher level grind with even tougher variants of monsters to go after. Monster Hunter World has been seeing its share of tougher monsters, especially with Arch-Tempered Elder Dragons, so it remains to be seen what G-Rank could potentially offer.

Then again, this could just be new content- perhaps a new region along with some brand new monsters. At this point, all we can do is speculate. Hopefully, it turns out to be little more than just Arch-Tempered Nergigante. Monster Hunter World’s first anniversary is coming up next month. Can Capcom deliver the goods? Stay tuned in the next hour and a half to find out.
