Geralt of Rivia has arrived in Astera. The collaboration quest between Capcom’s Monster Hunter World and CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now live. It’s currently available for Xbox One and PS4, with PC players receiving the quest later. Check out the latest trailer below.

The single-player questline features Geralt hunting down a Leshen, one of the troublesome foes from The Witcher 3. Completing the quest will see players earn a full set of Geralt’s gear complete with its own perks. However, playing the quest may even be fun just for seeing Geralt conduct investigations in his typical manner (complete with Doug Cockle’s voice acting).

On February 15th, a multiplayer quest will go live for Xbox One and PS4 owners. This involves taking on an Ancient Leshen, which is supposed to be more powerful. How much more remains to be seen, but completing it bestows a Ciri α armour set, which should also have its own perks. Stay tuned for more details on the quest’s release for PC in the coming weeks.
