Yesterday, NeatherRealm Studios formally confirmed that the likes of Cassie Cage would be part of the playable roster in Mortal Kombat 11 with a bombastic new story trailer, after she had already been leaked previously, and now, she is centre stage in a standard introductory trailer as well.

The new trailer shows Cassie in top form, exchanging verbal blows, before proceeding to trade physical (very physical) ones. There are hits to sensitive areas with bots, awesome knife skills, the customary splashes of gore and guts, and about everything else you’d expect to see in a typical, everyday trailer for Mortal Kombat 11- which means it’s amazing, of course. Take a look below.

The likes of Jonny Cage and Jade have also been confirmed over the last couple of weeks, and we can expect to see even more confirmations in the build up to the game’s launch. This month also sees an online stress test for the game, followed by an open beta, both only for PS4 and Xbox One players. Mortal Kombat 11 itself launches in full for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23.
