MultiVersus - Jason Vorhees

Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th is one of several new characters landing in MultiVersus (and free for open beta players). As a Tank, he’s a heavy hitter who sacrifices mobility for some hard-hitting attacks. While some moves were showcased recently, a new trailer outlines his entire kit. Check them out below.

The more noteworthy options include Unstoppable Rage, a Special Ground Neutral that converts self-inflicted damage to grey health in exchange for higher movement speed and damage/knockback on the next attack. It also provides some grey health to your allies. Then there’s Mist Step for teleporting forward, knocking back nearby opponents.

Sweet Dreams is brutal, as Jason stuffs a character in a sleeping bag and swings them like a weapon or throws them as a projectile. It’s ideal for displacing an opponent and hurting their partner simultaneously.

MultiVersus is out on May 28th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details before it goes live.
