Bloober Team’s Observer: System Redux will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season. To highlight the improvements made to its visuals, the developer has released a new image on its official Twitter. Along with better textures, the atmospheric lighting improvements and illumination looks great.

More will be revealed on June 5th with IGN’s Summer of Gaming having a next-gen deep dive for the title. Visual improvements aside, Observer: System Redux will also include expanded gameplay and new story content (which will make the average playthrough about 20 percent longer according to the developer). Perhaps we’ll get a closer look at both this Friday.

Observer is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. You can read our review for the original game here. Bloober Team is also currently developing The Medium, a psychological horror that’s exclusive to the Xbox Series X and PC. It will launch in Q4 2020 and features music by Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka.
