The two Tank heroes, along with some others, will still have their current looks when the closed beta begins on April 26th for PC.

Overwatch 2 - Doomfist

With Overwatch 2’s closed beta for PvP happening next week, Blizzard Entertainment recently detailed the reworks that Orisa and Doomfist had received. Both sport fairly new kits and abilities but while Doomfist’s new look could be seen, Orisa looked just about the same.

Community manager AndyB clarified this in a forum reply, noting that neither hero would have their new look in the closed beta. “The new look for both Orisa and Doomfist are not quite ready to be shown in a gameplay reveal trailer like we normally do (you’ll see in beta that they, along with some other heroes, will still have what we call their 1.0 looks).” This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but if you’re expecting to see every playable hero’s new design, then it’s best to temper expectations.

Overwatch 2’s closed beta starts on April 26th for PC players. Along with the reworks for Doomfist, Orisa, Sombra and Bastion, it offers four brand new maps, the new Push Mode and a new playable hero in Sojourn. Details on PvE are still pending but based on data mined from the beta, it seems that there will be a Battle Pass, Hero and Role Shards (what these may be), and much more.
