Overwatch Blizzard

Overwatch beta players take note – the beta will be going offline on December 10th at 9 AM PST. This is due to Blizzard wanting to analyze the date it’s received from the current beta. You can expect it go back online sometime in January and it seems that more players will be invited to join next year.

The beta forums will also be offline though you can still access them until December 18th. More than 900,000 matches have been played since the closed beta began and Blizzard will continue to measure feedback in order to work on a spectator mode and various other progression systems. One would also assume that further balancing will take place for characters.

What are your thoughts on the closed beta for Overwatch, especially with regards to the characters and maps that were made available? Let us know in the comments and whether you’ll be hopping back on in January 2016. Overwatch will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Q1/Q2 2016.
