Overwatch Competitive Play Season 3 Has Ended

Season 4 begins next week.

Posted By | On 22nd, Feb. 2017

Competitive Play in Overwatch has seen its third season wrap up. If you completed your placement matches and earned a rank, you’ll be rewarded with a Season 3 spray and player icon along with Competitive Points.

The number of CP earned is based on the highest rank attained for the season and cane be used to purchasing Gold Weapons. Top 500 players will be rewarded with special animated sprays and icons, even if they didn’t finish the season in that spot.

Season 4 of Competitive Play will begin on February 28th. It’s possible that the recent buffs and changes to Bastion, currently available on PC via the Public Test Realm, go live but that remains to be seen. Given the controversy surrounding Season 3 placements and matchmaking, any changes made will be interesting.

How did you perform in Season 3 of Competitive Play? How badly did the D.Va nerf hit you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates on Overwatch in the coming weeks.
