Overwatch Dev Will Announce Date for Next Event

As it's done with previous events.

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch is gearing up for its Anniversary event, rumoured to be taking place on May 23rd thanks to datamining of the Xbox Store that showcased Anniversary Loot Boxes. Details of the event remain sparse but we know that there will be over 100 Anniversary cosmetics to unlock including new skins.

Of course, Blizzard won’t stay shy about the official release date. The official Overwatch Twitter was asked about whether an official date for the event would be announced beforehand. It responded, “Yes, as we have with our previous events.”

So basically, keep those eyes open and don’t be annoyed that the event actually didn’t go live today (because it’s not the one year anniversary of the game, duh). The Anniversary Loot Boxes will apparently be available till June 5th. Is that when the event ends as well? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
