Overwatch Has “A Little Something Else” Around The Corner

More story-related updates coming this year regardless.

With new events and heroes over the past few months, Blizzard Entertainment hasn’t exactly been doing much to advance the story for Overwatch. As fans pointed out on the official forums, the latest hero Orisa neither had a short film nor comic centered around her.

That being said, Blizzard hasn’t abandoned the story. Lead writer Michael Chu said that, “We have a lot in the works, with Orisa and her story being the first release of the year. One of our goals for 2017 is to try to have more frequent story-related updates and content, so we’re very busy with that.”

Chu also noted that there was “a little something else is coming just around the corner, so look out for it!”

Doomfist-related perhaps? That remains to be seen but that gauntlet didn’t just go missing for nothing (or so we hope).

Meanwhile, over on the PTR, several changes have been made to existing heroes like Ana, Zenyatta, Sombra and Orisa. Head here for more information on the same.
