Overwatch Sigma

A new developer update is available for Overwatch, detailing all the abilities for the game’s newest hero Sigma. Director Jeff Kaplan breaks down the new Tank’s backstory and how he plays. Check it out below, and try to refrain from calling Sigma broken.

His main attack is the Hyperspheres, which can be fired at enemies from short to mid-range. These explode after traveling a certain distance and deal decent damage. Sigma’s secondary ability is Experimental Barrier, which allows Sigma to project a barrier in a particular direction before stopping it in place.

The barrier can then be called back and placed somewhere else. Kinetic Grasp allows Sigma to grab projectiles in mid-air and absorb them to add to his shield pool for up to 800 total HP. Accretion sees him molding a boulder and tossing it at foes – the greater the distance, the more the knockback on the target. Finally, his Ultimate, Gravitic Flux, allows Sigma to float in the air, and place a black hole to suspend enemies in mid-air before slamming them down for 50 percent of their health.
