Overwatch Havana

As teased in a recent trailer, Overwatch’s new Escort map Havana is now live on the Public Test Realm server. This means it’s only accessible to PC players, who must download a separate PTR build from the Region tab in the Battle.net launcher. From there, you’re free to explore the sunny streets of Cuba’s capital.

Havana was recently used as the setting for Storm Rising, Overwatch’s new PvE event. Unlike that scenario, which required escorting a payload from the distillery to the Havana Sea Fort, here players will move it through the entire map. It’s a unique mix of openness and narrow passages, not unlike King’s Row or Rialto.

Usually, new maps take a few weeks to be introduced to live servers. Storm Rising will be available as an event until May 6th. Perhaps we can expect Havana to land sometime after that, if not before the game’s Anniversary Event. Stay tuned for more information on the same in the coming weeks.
