Remember roughly a week ago when P.T., the so-called playable teaser for Kojima Productions’ now-cancelled Silent Hills title, was still available for download from the PlayStation Store despite Konami having removed it? It was revealed that if one had downloaded the demo before its removal from the Store, they would have the option to re-download it since it would remain in their library. New users would be out of luck but at least everyone else who got in on the craze wouldn’t be.

As it turns out, Konami has caught on to the demo’s continued existence and has now made it so that it can’t even be re-downloaded from one’s library (as reported by Polygon). So unless you decided to keep it on your PS4 – or decide to drop cash on PS4 units being sold by users online with P.T. installed – you’ll never be able to experience it again.

What are your thoughts on P.T.’s existence being wiped out completely? Let us know in the comments.
