Path of Exile Metamorph

It’s that time again, when the hype for a new challenge league in Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile starts. The developer confirmed on its forums that the 3.10.0 expansion would be announced in “about three weeks”. That technically means it will be announced in March instead of later this month (which Grinding Gear Games stated could happen).

The 3.10.0 expansion will likely see the current Metamorph League’s mechanics rolled into the standard game. Meanwhile, seasonal players will see a new challenge league available, one that will run for a period of three months. Given that we’ve seen an endless dungeon, tower defense and “make your own boss” mechanics, one has to wonder what could be next.

One thing is for sure: Metamorph Supporter Packs will be gone from the store soon. Along with containing different outfits fashioned after the new Conquerors, these packs also contain points for purchasing Stash Tabs and other items. New Supporter Packs will be introduced when the next expansion is announced.
