Path of Exile 2_02

Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile saw a new concurrent player peak with Delirium League when it launched in March. With the league being two months old now, the time for revealing the next challenge league is near. The developer stated in a recent forum post that the next expansion and league would be be announced in “a few weeks.”

That’s not the narrowest timeline but it makes sense considering the current work-at-home situation. It will be most interesting to see how Grinding Gear Games implements feedback – Delirium League was notorious for performance issues and erratic difficulty. Patches and updates have since helped smooth things over.

Path of Exile 2 is also currently in the works and serves as a free, seven-act campaign for the current game. It brings 19 new Ascendancy classes, significant changes to gearing (like all items capable of having six links) and graphical improvements. It’s slated for beta testing in late 2020 for PC but stay tuned for more updates in subsequent months.
