Perfect Dark

Years after its initial announcement, The Initiative and Crystal Dynamics have finally showcased the first gameplay trailer for Perfect Dark. It sees long-time protagonist Joanna Dark venturing to the Garden City in Cairo to find and take down Daniel Carrington (who previously served as her boss). Check it out below.

Upon investigating a hideout, Carrington reaches out to Joanna and starts filtering shady information through her AR system. Paranoia and suspicion are nothing new in the Perfect Dark universe, and once again, Joanna will need to be careful who she trusts. Throughout her journey, she can utilize new gadgets like analyzing voices to create deepfakes, disguising herself as other NPCs, and more.

Of course, Joanna is equally skilled in combat, utilizing both lethal and non-lethal combat, close-quarters combat and an array of weapons to take down enemies. Players can mix and match these approaches, even utilizing the environment, to complete their objectives. There are risks and rewards to both.

Perfect Dark is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC. Stay tuned for more details shortly.
