Recent leaks have heavily suggested that Atlus is gearing up to make a couple of big Persona-related announcements at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase, and it seems like that is indeed going to happen. A remake of Persona 3 has been rumoured for a while now, and Atlus seems to have accidentally uploaded its reveal trailer early to its official Instagram page.
True to recent leaks, the remake is called Persona 3 Reload. The announce trailer showcases glimpses of the updated cutscenes, improved visuals, some of the combat and the dungeons, a few side activities, and more. The Xbox marketing also makes it abundantly clear that the game will be officially announced at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11.
As per the trailer, Persona 3 Reload is due out sometime in early 2024 and is being built using Unreal Engine (which is unusual for Persona), with Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC mentioned as the platforms it will be available for. It will also be available via Game Pass at launch. Presumably, the game will launch for PS5 and PS4 as well, though whether Switch players get access too remains to be seen.

Persona 3 Reload isn’t the only upcoming announcement that Atlus has accidentally spilled the beans on. The reveal trailer for an upcoming turn-based tactics RPG, Persona 5 Tactica, has also leaked- check it out through here.
