Negotiationg with enemies in order to recruit them has been a major feature in the Shin MegamiTensei games for a long time. Persona 3 removed that feature, and Persona 4 continued to ignore it, but after listening to the demands of fans, Atlus have brought it back with Persona 5. This feature will allow players to recruit Shadows into their roster of personas (if your level is high enough), while also providing you with items or abilities. It’s a feature that used to be one of the best and most unique aspects of battles in the earlier Persona games, and we’re glad to see it making a comeback.
