Along with new interactions, characters and enemies, Atlus’s Persona 5 Royal will also have new Personas. Each character gets a new Persona or two but it seems that a series’ favourite will be joining the cast. Fafnir has been announced as appearing and he’ll be a Strength Arcana Persona.
Fafnir will be familiar to fans of previous Shin Megami Tensei games. Interestingly, his last appearance in a Persona title was with Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment from the PlayStation One era. So technically, this will be his first appearance in a more contemporary title.
Persona 5 Royal is out on October 31st for PS4 in Japan. It will release in Spring 2020 for the West. Recently, Atlus shared a trailer highlighting protagonist Joker along with his new interactions with Justine and Caroline among others. Check it out here.
