PlayStation 4 App Launch Line-up Revealed

Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced its lineup of entertainment apps that will be available on the PlayStation 4 when it launches in the US. This includes: Amazon Instant Video, Crackle, Crunchyroll, EPIX, Hulu Plus, NBA Game Time, Netflix, NHL GameCenter Live, Redbox Instant by Verizon, VUDU and YuppTV. All of these can be accessed from the PlayStation Store.

Phil Rosenberg, senior vice president, business development and publisher relations at SCEA stated that, “PlayStation is deeply committed to providing the most immersive gaming and entertainment experiences to gamers,” The PS4 is the most powerful gaming system ever created, which enables us, along with our partners to add amazing entertainment options to the platform that we know PlayStation fans are going to love.”

In addition to these apps will be Sony’s own Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services for all your media needs. The PlayStation 4 launches on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe.
