PlayStation VR2 Trailer Highlights Critical Praise

The next-gen VR headset retails for $549.99 and has titles like Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Gran Turismo 7 VR, and more available.

Sony’s PlayStation VR2 was released on February 22nd, ushering in a new generation of VR gaming. Available for PS5 players, it’s received some strong praise from critics, and a new trailer is available to highlight the same. Check it out below.

The VR head-mounted display costs $549.99 and features a 4K dual OLED panel, eye-tracking and foveated rendering. It also features Sense controllers that utilize the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers included in the PS5’s DualSense. Finger-tracking is also supported, keeping track of your hand movements.

Some big launch titles playable with the VR headset include Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Gran Turismo 7 VR, No Man’s Sky VR, and more. Various titles like Resident Evil Village are also fully playable in VR. There’s more to come in the future with The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR on March 16th, Humanity in May, Resident Evil 4 remake’s VR content, and so on. Stay tuned in the meantime.
