Pokemon Go Celebrates 5th Anniversary With Galar Region Event

During the recent Pokemon Presents livestream, The Pokemon Company unveiled a number of details for the game's 5th anniversary celebration event.

Pokemon Go is 5 years old now, and Niantic is recognizing the occasion with a Galar Region event. During the recent Pokemon Presents livestream, it was announced that the event will start from the 20th of August and run up until September. Check out the video below for more details.

During the event, players can expect to find Wooloo, Skwovet, and Falinks during their travels. Furthermore, Pokemon like the legendary duo Zacian and Zazamenta will be also be available in limited-time raid events. Much of this is the collaboration with Pokemon Sword and Shield, and interested fans should definitely log into the game during the event.

In addition to this Pokemon Go news, a bunch of new information about Pokemon Legends: Arceus and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl was also revealed during the event. Fans also got to know more about Pokemon Unite‘s mobile release date, which is launching on September 22 for Android and iOS platforms.
